If Bounds Law LLC determines your work is legally ineligible for registration, your $597 retainer is fully refunded.

Important Information & Legal Disclaimers
Pen to Profits is an educational and experiential program offered through Bound for Destiny, a DBA of Bounds Enterprises LLC, and is separate from Bounds Law LLC.
The Copyright Registration Package described on this page is an optional legal service offered separately by Bounds Law LLC and is not included in Pen to Profits registration. The $597 payment constitutes an advance legal fee retainer for attorney preparation and filing of one eligible U.S. copyright application. Legal representation is subject to acceptance by Bounds Law LLC, including completion of the firm’s required intake and conflict-review procedures and execution of a separate engagement agreement.
Retainer Expiration & Terms: Purchased packages must be initiated and client intake completed within six (6) months of the payment date. If intake is not submitted within 6 months, the engagement terms expire.
Eligibility Refund Policy: If Bounds Law LLC determines during initial intake and review that your work is not legally eligible for copyright registration, or if representation cannot be undertaken due to an unresolvable conflict, the $597 legal retainer will be refunded in full. Government filing fees are separate, paid directly in connection with the applicable U.S. Copyright Office filing, and are non-refundable once submitted to the Copyright Office.
